MEDICAL
Medical Services
The Free Clinic operates a medical clinic for Free Clinic eligible patients.
Services provided through the clinic include:
-General medical treatment
-Chronic disease management
-Medically necessary diagnostic testing
-Referrals to medical specialists
-Women's health screenings
-Flu Immunizations
Medical clinics are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well as on Thursday evenings. Thursday evening clinics are provided by volunteers, and RAFC currently utilizes over 20 area providers. RAFC has a referral network of over 25 physicians.

Overview
The Free Clinic provdes medical care to uninsured and underinsured residents of Rockbridge County, the City of Buena Vista, and the City of Lexington.
The Free Clinic treats adults with acute and chronic illnesses needing routine medical supervision and medications. A staff nurse practitioner and volunteer physicians provide care Monday through Thursday. The Free Clinic does not provide Emergency Services.
All Rockbridge Area Free Clinic visits are limited to current patients with a valid RAFC eligibility card. All Rockbridge Area Free Clinic visits are by appointment only.
