PHARMACEUTICAL
Rockbridge Area Free Clinic provides access to pharmaceuticals through its state-licensed pharmacy. Prescriptions written by RAFC physicians are filled in the pharmacy.
Pharmacy hours
The pharmacy is open every Tuesday and some Thursdays during normal business hours. Additionally, the pharmacy is open Thursday nights during medical clinic hours.
Filling prescriptions
Prescriptions must be written by a local doctor and may be brought to the pharmacy window during normal business hours.
The Free Clinic does not provide any controlled substances.
Refills
Refills may be called in at any time by using our refill line at (540) 464-8701. Please have your bottles with you when calling and leave the following information:
* Full name
* Telephone number
* Rx number
* Name of medication
Allow 7-14 days for medications to be filled. Pick up medications during normal business hours any day except Tuesday. We ask for a $2 donation per prescription each month. You must bring your current eligibility card.
