Volunteer Programs

Administrative Volunteers

Administrative Volunteers assist with a variety of office work such as patient check-in, prescription checkout, and completion of refill orders to pharmaceutical companies. Administrative Volunteers also provide administrative support to the evening clinic and enter data into our database.

Professional Volunteers

Volunteer Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurse Practioners, Nurses, Dental Assistants, and Certified Pharmacy Technicians provide medical, dental, and pharmaceutical assistance to eligible Rockbridge Area Free Clinic patients.

Student Volunteers

The Student Volunteer program provides a valuable opportunity for students to earn community service hours needed for college admission, scholarships, honor societies, scouts, or just to make a difference. It's also a great way to find out what a career in health care is really like! It's worth mentioning that students do fill positions as both professional and administrative volunteers.
